A Pinda is a round rice ball made of cooked rice, sesame seeds, barley flour, honey, and ghee. These balls represent the symbolic body of the deceased soul and are offered during rituals to honor and appease ancestors.

- Offering of Pindas – The rice balls are placed on a banana leaf or in flowing water (like a river or sacred pond).
- Feeding Cows, Crows, and Brahmins – It is believed that ancestors accept food when it is offered to these beings.
